We are a Microbrewery based in the picturesque village of Bow Brickhill, near Woburn, on the Buckinghamshire / Bedfordshire border.
Head brewer, Ryan Horne, has always had a passion for real ales and craft beer and has devoted time and effort learning about traditional brewing techniques and perfecting recipes using only quality, natural ingredients.
Having gained these skills we decided to take the ‘goat by the horns’ and brew our efforts for a wider audience to enjoy. After much planning and hard work our 6 Barrel Brewery was installed in early March 2015 and brewing in Bow Brickhill finally commenced.
A juicy pale ale hopped solely with New Zealand Rākau bring stone fruits, fresh orchard fruits and pine together in taste and aroma. Rākau is Mau, meaning "to bear a weapon" and is a martial art based on traditional Māori weapons, which are depicted in the pump clip. This ale is a rare breed as the New Zealand Arapawa Goat is one of the rarest breeds in the world so keep an eye out for it when it’s available!
